Bringing Harmony to
Your IT World
Which is for You?
Plan 1 - Enhanced Collocation
Our base plan is appropriate for organizations that require no managed firewall service, either because they choose to collocate their own hardware firewall and security systems, or because they rely on host based (software) firewall methods.
But unlike other “in the wild” basic collocation plans, our Enhanced Collocation is a transparent pass-through our highly available (HA) Fortigate firewalls, so it includes Real-time DDoS detection and prevention from malicious traffic that originates beyond our network. This value-added feature protects your servers from malicious remote discovery and probing tools, security exploits, and volume-based denial of service attacks.
The Enhanced plan includes monthly bandwidth reports, so that you can retroactively understand your bandwidth usage. Customers with bandwidth commits less than 100Mbps will be connected via Fast Ethernet switch ports (100Mbps), on a managed distribution switch. We monitor every switch port for port hardware failure via our highly granular monitoring systems.
You can optionally enable IPS, AntiVirus, and traffic shaping as part of your collocation agreement, for additional costs.
Plan 2 - Enterprise Collocation
Our Enterprise Collocation plan includes:
- A managed firewall service, inbound/outbound rules on our highly available firewall cluster. The active/active gigabit Ethernet speed firewalls provide for a fully redundant firewall service.
- Private VLAN: your nodes will be unreachable by any host anywhere except for as explicitly allowed by the firewall rules you instruct us to setup, yet your hosts will have unlimited access to each other at gigE layer 2 speeds.
- Real-time self service access to sFlow information (more granular that MRTG, etc), so you can track your usage and growth.
- Gigabit Ethernet ports, one per U of collocation on dual power supply GigE switches, means a more reliable switch fabric.
- Unmetered bandwidth between nodes on the same vlan, maximizing the GigE connectivity, great for application servers + database cluster where you will have a high intra-node bandwidth levels.
Plan 3 - Enterprise Private-Plus Collocation
Our Enterprise Private-Plus Collocation plan includes all of the features of the Enterprise Collocation plan, and adds:
- The private VLAN is a network address translated (NAT) “class C” VLAN, a “/24”
- Site to site IPSEC VPN, connecting corporate office(s) to this hosted NAT VLAN.
- Client based VPN into this hosted NAT VLAN.
Extremely useful for non-public access protocols like site to site replication, securly accessing test/dev using unsecure ports inside a secure tunnel, off-siting corporate resources like Exchange and Sharepoint, yet allowing Active Directory schema replication or printing over the VPN tunnel.
Plan 4 - Virtual Private Firewall (VPF)
Although this option is available at any plan level, it is best suited for organizations who want to self-manage your own firewall settings on a clustered hardware platform that requires no capex to turn up. A VPF login, into our firewall cluster gives your network admins their own interface to administer their own ACLs, multiple VLANs, VPN connections, all at their own pace and discretion, all on hardware not requring purchasing/colo/and lifecycle management - to a set of IP addresses and VLANs specific to your hosting or collocation package, with the options you require.
Optional Services Available To All Collocation and Hosting Plans
Optional services that may immediately interest you are:
- Storage as a Service: enterprise class clustered SAN gateways offering SAN and NAS volumes.
- KVM over IP: enterprise class dual power supply, dual network link KVM allows for encrypted full console access with virtual media (you can load a CD at your end and the server at our end can see it), the KVM fully integrates with PDUs, so if a server is unresponsive even via KVM you can self-service reboot using the smart PDUs.
- Fortigate Intrusion Protection Service (IPS) is available on a per IP/node assignment, or for your whole subnet. Great for protecting web applications from sql injection, cross site exploits, etc.
- Fortigate packet shaping and throttling, can throttle based on local or remote IP, protocol, etc. Very useful to throttle your offsite replication so that it doesn’t max our connection and put you over your bandwidth budget.
- Fortigate antivirus “Unified Threat Management”, very useful for community sites where you want to stop virus laden files from being uploaded to your servers.
